This section was about how china changed with the drugs and the Great Wall of China.

How mad they got from the drug selling of opium (a drug) with britain and china.

It was also about how china finnaly opened up and started to trade with other neighboring countries instead of hiding behind the Great Wall of China and trading with other parts of china. They opened up ports. But with all this opening teh dyanasty finally came to an end or came crashing down.

I learned about how the Chinese didn't like the drugs that the British brought into China. Also, the decline of the Qing Dynasty was because, the biggest reason, of the intense "outside" pressure applied to Chinese society by the modern West.
The most interesting thing I learned would probably be that the Chinese don't have letters in their alphabet, they use symbols.
